Melissa wore her hair down!!!!!

On Mon, I wore my hair down for a full school day AND i wore jeans!!!! Some of you don't know me as well and anyboy can tell you (even if they known me for my whole life) that maybe they've seen me wear my hair down 5 times. I sometimes wear my hair down to sleep, but hardly ever outside the house. I also hadn't worn jeans since the beginning of 5th grade (I'm in the middle of 6th) so my friends had been bugging me about how I never wore my hair down and never wear jeans. Then my friend Madeline said she'd give me $4 to wear my hair down and jeans for a day. I had to go and buy jeans (I didn't even have any) and then I did it and came home and put my hair up and changed into shorts. :-) So these pictures are me with my hair down and jeans and then how my hair looked up (it was after gymnastics) and how you'll see it for the few months! Skiing

Today my family and I went skiing at Winter Park. The snow was awesome since they got 11 new inches of snow in the last 24 hours! At lunch, well let me start from the beginning, ok, so we all agreed to meet at 11:30 for lunch and all went seperate ways. My dad and I both went in at about 10:30 and then I texted my brother and he came in, but my mom was still out there. My dad went to get our lunch out of the locker and when he came back we started eating and my brother got us Chile Cheese Fries, which were awesome too. But my dad took out the lunches and he pulled out something that looked like green beans, which my brother and I did not want, so Brett said joking "Melissa quick go through it away", but I didn't and Brett set it down on the tray. And then a guy that worked there came and said "Can i take that tray for you?" and we were all like "sure". After the guy walked away my brother looked at my dad and went "yes" and said that guy just through away the green beans and i started laughing. Then around 11:20 my mom came in, opened the bag that our lunches had been in and said "Oh no, I think i forgot to pack my aspargous" and I started cracking up for like 5 min. Then I told her we accidently threw it away. AND now she's mad us. so the green beans were actually aspargous wrapped in this turkey, and it was her lunch! It was really funny, but my mom doesn't see that yet. :-) Hope you like the pics.

Winter Break

Hey everybody, Hope you had a good winter break/holiday/New Year!!!!!! I sure did, Well, as you know I wen to the ER with my dad, but the next day my mom, Brett, and I went to my Grammie and Pa's to make peppernuts (as we always do) then on the 23rd my friend and I went skiing at Winter Park. My Grandparents and neighbors came over for Christmas Eve, and since Brett and I are in our Church's Choir we sang on Christmas Eve then came to our house and just hung out and opened presents from our neighbors. For christmas I recieved a digital camera and gymnastics class (yea!!!!!! another new sport to try) and our family got the Wii game system. So far we only have Wii Sports. On New Years Eve I babysat, but only till 11:00 P.M so I came home and stayed up late, c'mon you always have to stay up to welcome the new year. School started 2 days ago and it was really great to see my friends, but my brain was so not ready to start all the homework and thinking AND actually working part!!!! The picture with me kinda like raising my hand is me playing the Wii, The one with Mocha lying on my bed is what we all kinda did the whole break (relaxed, except for when my mom told us to "Pick up the snack dishes, put away shoes, help with the laundry") The bubbles are catnip bubbles that we got my cat, but she didn't really get the whole point of them so Brett and I had fun with them and realized they last a really long time. Oh yeah, my brother and spent some of our Christmas money on the new iPod nano's, I got the green one and he got the yellow.
