The day after we arrived on Sunday March, 22 Brett and I ran in a 5k race. This race was good because I got my best time on a 5K ever. It was 24:48 which means my pace was 7:59, which isn't bad for going longer distances. I finished 2nd in the 12 and under female division and my brother finished 3rd overall and 1st in the 13-19 male division! We both got medals! The t-shirts we got are pretty awesome too. It was in a nice park and the route we took was a concrete path.

Arizona
Hey, so for Spring break we went down to Arizona. We do that every year because my grandparents spend 3 months down in Sun City West so we always go visit them. I took a bunch of pictures so i was just going to blog by event and this was kinda like the "intro". Even though the pool hours are great, kids are only allowed in the pool from 10 a.m- 1 p.m and then from 6-8 p.m. but you find other things to fill up time. We shop, run, the guys play golf, girls get manicures and pedicures, homework (ugh), soccer, etc. You find other things to do beside swim. :-)

Skiing at Breckenridge with Family

So Brett, my dad and I went skiing with my cousin John, my cousin Kiley, my cousin Colby and My aunt Pam and Uncle Bill. We met them up at a condo in Breckenridge and then headed out for the day. It was really fun since I hadn't been to Breck in a long time and I liked skiing with people other my immediate family. We went skiing on March 8, but then I didn't take a lot of picture on my camera so I asked Kiley if she could e-mail them to me a week later, so she did and then I am posting them now. The only picture that I took on my camera was of me, Brett, and my dad standing by Mach 1. It's a double black at Breckenridge, but would only be a black at winter park. It's like Outhouse at Winter Park. I loved it; half of the way I was on my stummy (stomache and tummy; I don't like the word stomache it sounds old and tummy is just weird, so it's stummy. but anyway) and I was head first, rolling, flipping, It was really fun except that I got a huge bruise on my hip. Ouch! The other half I skiied, YAY!!!! At the top my ski hit a mogul and then I flipped. But if I could do it again, I so would. THANK YOU JOHN, FOR BUYING ME AND BRETT'S LIFT TICKETS! It was overall a good, scratch that, awesome day!

K-Life Sleepover; more pics
Here are more k-life photos. The one with the girl in the white sweatshirt is our small group leader, Brittany. She's a freshman in College. The other pic where I'm sitting there with my head on my friend Ashlyn's shoulder is right after they all woke me up. I just decided to sleep on the carpet without anything except a blanket, ( I was to lazy to get anything else out). Note to Self: Sleep with something more than a blanket, you'll wake up sore otherwise. To get me up they took the blanket off and then it was cold, but I still wasn't up and then they started trowing stuff at me! It wasn't nice, so if you're trying to get someone up, DO IT NICELy!!
K-Life Sleepover
Hey, ok it was really fun because on friday our small group from Denver K-Life had a sleepover. We talked about stuff and did activities and just had fun and hung out. We made capes, they are pretty awesome. Here are some pictures and I'll post more because they couldn't all fit on one post. We also made 2 videos, they are also awesome, but I can't figure out how to post them. I think, maybe they will be put on youtube. So I will tell you if they are and you can see them there. Ok the picture with the blue and white flower, I did on their chalkboard wall.

Ski Day with Dad
On March 5 my dad let me skip school and go skiing with him. He also let my brother in February so he had to let me. We went to Winter Park and skied 20 runs. We skied Outhouse, which is a black, 3 times but now it should maybe be a blue black. It was really fun and not many people there so there were no lift lines, We were also the very first people on the lift! We went above timberline and were going to do the Parsenn Bowl, but we didn't for 2 reasons 1) it was closed and 2) it would be like suicide because Winter Park hadn't received any snow for the last 2 days. Up above timberline the wind was 50 mph so we only went up there twice. My dad forgot our poles so we had to rent and I got these pretty awesome green ones, they were my irish ski poles. :-)
