On Sunday at 5:00 p.m It was a dream come true. Now some of you might be thinking back to what you were doing at that time and you recall that it was rainy, well yeah it was pouring. I was playing soccer in the rain with mud on the field and you were sliding all over the place. It was AWESOME!! I got tripped a few times, but most of the time it was just me sliding and falling. Now my whites; white cleats, white socks, and white jersey..... are NOT white anymore. I was wearing my friend, Alex's shirt and it wasn't like the kinds that gets rid of water, so I was freezing, but that was ok. After we had warmed up my friend Madison who has a semi-heavy coat bunched up under her jersey with her hood on yelled up to me "Still livin' the dream, Melissa?" and I just replied "oh yea, it's just getting started" then the other team kicked off. The final score was 1-1. It was the best game of my life. I popped my knee out when I was turning around and I fell, but It was still A DREAM COME TRUE!!!!

Popcorn and Snuggles
On sat. I was sitting at the computer and the Snuggles was sitting with me, which doesn't happen very often because of the dog, but she was kinda in a funny position and stayed there for a while. So my mom took a picture and I thought it was kinda cute. On Sun. my dad was making popcorn and he forgot to put the lid on, so I also took a pic because it was funny, he's mad about it, but he'll laugh later. I just too a pic of the counter but it was all over the floor too! and then he finally put a pan over the popcorn after it was all done popping.

AZ-Dinner Out
On the night before we left, Friday, we went out to celebrate my grandpa's 80th b-day. His real birthday is in May but since my uncle, his son, lives down in Arizona we were going to celebrate it with him too. We went to this restaurant called... well I forgot. But it was really nice. My brother was sick. lucky for us because the KU and Michigan State game was on and we are HUGE KU fans. So my brother was home watching the game and every time the score changed he would text me. My dad was checking the scores on Yahoo! on his iPhone. So we were still following the game. Unfortunately they lost, but it was because they all wanted to go home and go sledding, that's my brother's theory (because at that time Pratt got 28 inches of snow, no joke). The desert at the restaurant was good, but they ran out of the cake that we ordered and so we just ordered off the menu. That's what the picture of the chocolate cake with a saguaro cookie.
AZ-Hike
Hello!! sorry about taking a few more days to blog more, but I got really busy and lazy, oops, mostly busy. Ok well anyway we went on hike in Arizona in White Tank Mountains. It was a short 2 mile hike. We ended at this cave where a bunch of water comes down it's supposedly a huge awesome waterfall, but only after a big rain. Which they didn't have so the water fall is now water "fell". Ha ha. There was also a dead bat that drowned, and I took a picture, Hey how many times in a lifetime/day do you see a dead bat? But see I'm being nice and not showing you the picture. So here are some more pictures of the hike.

Here are some more pictures of us at my Uncle John's house and some extras of us hiking at White Tank Mountains, which you can learn more about at the above posting, but it may not be there till a few hours or minutes. Oh gosh, I sound like I'm writing a fancy, serious paper or something "you can learn more about at the above posting" sorry
Arizona- Uncle John's House
Hey, sorry I haven't finished my Arizona trip blogging. I was posting the previous stuff on Sunday night and then I had to stop and then on Monday night I was really sick. But anyway, That night (same day of race) we went over to my Uncle John's house like we do every year to eat his AMAZING home grilled burgers... yeah, we also go over to see his pets....and ok, to see him too!! Jk, we love him, (i have to say that, he's gonna be reading this, Jk..again sorry) He has 2 dogs, Milo he's a yellow lab mix and Harley who's a black lab. They are both adorable, as you can tell by the pictures. My Uncle also has a very beautiful backyard with a lemon tree. He let us pick some lemons and take them home. Oh yeah so we were eating our burgers and just my mom, Brett, and I were out there (we were eating outside) and my dad came out, set his plate down and went back in. My mom and brother noticed he had 2 slices of bread! Yeah it's really no big deal to and NORMAL person but, he's on diet and not supposed to have that kind of bread. So right when he stepped back outside I took off the top part of the bun and threw it at the nearest dog. It hit Milo in the face and once he knew he could eat it, he did. It was funny, you had to be there. I have more pictures, but they are in the next post.
