Swim meet #1...Franklin vs. Forest Park

Today was the first swim meet of the year. Ben Franklin Fish vs. Forest Park Blue Fins, Franklin won but I'm not sure by how much. At one point the score was 366- Franklin to 187- Forest Park. I signed up for one event- 100 freestyle, but ended up competing in 4 events. The 4x50 meter medley relay which I swam the backstroke leg of it, (but we got DQ in that race) then I swam the 100 freestyle which I came in 10 out of 19 and added about 20 mili seconds onto my seed time, then I swam the 50 freestyle and took off 5 seconds and came in 8 out of 22,(on this race Brett brought his friends and they all cheered for me, and I won my heat in that so maybe their cheering helped :-) ) and then I swam on another relay team. It was 4x50 meter freestlye relay where we all swim the freestyle stroke. This was a home meet so I got up at 5:55 a.m left at 6:20 a.m so I could check-in at 6:30 a.m so I could warm-up at 6:45 a.m.This was a fun meet because I knew a lot of people on the other team.

Becca's Graduation

Sorry I haven't blogged for a little bit, but SUMMER IS HERE!! and I noticed I hadn't blogged since I think April, so I thought I should probably blog again. I didn't know what to blog about.. so, this is Becca's HS graduation party.It was really fun, they had an italian buffet. Just me and my dad went because my mom was in Boulder and Brett was sick???hmm.... sick?? I didn't believe because until we had to leave he was just great and when we got home he was "much better". But he was the one who missed out, after that we we're leaving the neighborhood and got lost (it was her friend's house so we went familiar with the neighborhood) then ended up in this other neighborhood that had some of my dad's friends in it so he called told them we were lost and "how do I get to your house cuz' I'm comin' over" so we went over ther for an hour and that was really fun even though there WHOLE house and I mean ALL of it is under construction. and incase you're wondering Becca did hair at my birthday party, helped at my mom's b-day party, and is a family friend.
